About Us
My name is Jan Jones. My husband and I, along with our three children, have lived in the Midland, TX area for over ten years. After earning a Bachelor's of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX, I worked for a number of years in various business and accounting positions. Upon the birth of my oldest son, I became a busy stay-at-home mom, a position which became ever more challenging as my other two children came along!
Through the years of raising children, there have been many times when I wished that there could be two (or more) of me. One could do the shopping while the other attended to the million and one other things that needed doing in the short time I had before my presence was needed at the next activity. This feeling of always being short on time and long on chores was what inspired me to start Just Call Jan--Errands and More.
